Let me help!
Since 1999, I’ve been developing home decorating, organizing and living strategies that fit busy lifestyles. I search out the latest trends in worry-free, stress-less homes, and scour the buyers’ markets for the very best products to help achieve this goal. And I let you know where to find the best deals!
I’m happy to assist with interviews, appearances, DIY projects, tip sheets, safety checklists, product reviews, trend-spotting, where-to-buy, products sourcing for features, and more. Just ask!
Over the years, my Product Faves & Finds and DIY Ideas have been featured on NBC’s Today Show, Good Morning America, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, The Wall Street Journal, Good Housekeeping, Rachael Ray, Better Homes & Gardens, Wine Spectator, Cookie Magazine, eHow, Disney Online, and many others…
Brand Managers and Content Developers
Yes! I’ve developed content for blogs, videos and more for several brands. Some because I was asked to, and others — well, I just loved something and thought I’d share. If a product or brand delivers on its promises, I’m happy to crow about it.
Here’s a sampling of DIYs, blog posts, reviews, and videos that highlight a number of brands that pass my tests, including Ziploc, Cardinal Baby Gates, Strahl Drinkware, Behr, Krylon, Rust-oleum, Collected Recipes Cookbooks, Old English, Febreeze, Glade, and more.
Let me know if you have something I should look at, or if you’re looking to develop honest, straightforward content for your brand.
About my website:
I founded SimplySmartLiving.com (now merged with its sister site, KidSmartLiving.com) in 1999. At the time I was a working mother with a toddler and a vision — that worry-free, stress-less, and truly livable home style can be achieved with the right products and a little elbow grease.
Over the years my company grew to stock over 2000 unique items, I employed a full-time staff and managed a large shipping warehouse. But in 2014, I decided to downsize the sales side to a few select lines and focus my energy on my first love — finding, creating and sharing simply smart living ideas.
My at-home testing ground includes my now-teenage daughter and busy motorcycle-racer husband — and provides daily challenges for keeping a busy home organized, on-track and looking good.
